Day 1: Greeting at the airport and transfer to the Best Western Irazu. Located only 10 minutes from San Jose is the most convenient and comfortable hotel to explore the city. (1 night).
Day 2: An early morning departure will have you en route through one of Costa Ricas most scenic parks, Braulio Carrillo, then continue the journey heading towards the lowlands of the province of Limon, passing through banana plantations. A boat will be waiting for you to take you into the heart of Tortuguero National Park. The comfortable lodge will be your base of discovery for the next few days. Lodging at the Pachira Lodge (2 nights). All meals included.
Day 3: Today your naturalist tour guide will to take you, to explore the intricate system of natural canals and waterways, in this lush rain forest region, as well as walking through the trails of the park, and a visit to the little village of Tortuguero. All meals included.
Day 4: This morning awake early to enjoy the lovely surroundings of Costa Ricas own Amazon - like area. After breakfast we will head back to Siquirres. The journey will continue to the Hotel Suerre in Guapiles, where the car rental will be delivered or the driver will await you to take you to the South Caribbean Coast. Here you will stay at the Caribbean Suerre Hotel. (2 nights).

Day 5: Discover the paradisiacal Caribbean of Costa Rica. Here you can visit the Cahuita National Park, Gandoca Manzanillo Biological Reserve, visit the Pre-Colombian reserve at Bri-Bri. You can practice some snorkeling or just enjoy the white sand beach. Breakfast included.
Day 6: Today you will drive to the Arenal Lake & Volcano Area. The journey will take from the Atlantic lowlands to the scenic mountains of the Tilaran Mountain Range. Lodging at the Arenal Country Inn (2 nights). Located just south of the town of La Fortuna, with a spectacular view of the volcano from its spacious gardens. Breakfast included.
Day 7: Enjoy the spectacular eruptions of the Volcano, the most attractive of our country. The volcano erupts rocks, fire and lava over its upper slopes. Here, the natural beauty of the rainforest with its great variety of exotic plants, animals and birds of tremendous beauty, merges with the magnificence of one of the most active volcanoes in the world. Explore the region of San Carlos, famous for it’s fertile plantations and green scenery and visit the rejuvenating Tabacon Hot Springs, at Tabacon Resort. Breakfast included.
Day 8: Today you will drive to the Monteverde zone, very well known for it’s famous Cloud Forest Reserve. You will stay at Hotel Heliconia (2 nights) nestled in a pastoral setting provide you with spacious, comfortable accommodations just minutes from the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and other natural attractions. Breakfast included.
Day 9: Within minutes of Hotel Heliconia there are variety of natural attractions such as the Monteverde Cloud Forest Preserve, the Santa Elena Rain Forest Reserve, the Sky Walk, the Bajo del Tigre Trail, the Canopy Tour, the Butterfly Garden, the Orchid Garden, and the Serpentarium. In addition to these attractions you can enjoy horseback riding, mountain biking, motorcycle rental. Breakfast included.
Day 10: Today is time to discover the white sand beaches of Guanacaste, famous for its pristine waters, and it’s splendid beach resorts. Guanacaste is a world Mecca for sportfishing, scuba diving, in addition to the spectacular National Parks, like Santa Rosa, Palo Verde, The Rincon de la Vieja and Tenorio Volcanos.
Lodging at the Hotel Villas Sol Playa Hermosa (4 nights – all inclusive). This hotel is located at Playa Hermosa in the north western area of the Pacific Coast, surrounded by crystal clear waters, overlooking the Papagayo Gulf, right at the heart of all Guanacaste Beaches and atracttions. Breakfast included.
Day 11: Day at your leisure to enjoy hotel facilities and amenities or visit some of the nearby attractions and beaches. Lodging at the Hotel Villas Sol Playa Hermosa. All inclusive plan.

Day 14: Return to San Jose. The scenic route will take you through the Pan-American Highway passing the Guanacaste Sabana, and then through the mountains. The road is very scenic and there some interesting places to stop by in your way back to San Jose. Lodging at the Hotel Best Western Irazu. (1 night). Breakfast included.
Day 15: Farewell to Costa Rica. Car must be returned at the hotel. Transfer out to the international airport. Breakfast included.
